Iron 0-100kg
For small to medium sized iron castings, RapidCast have a variety of processes available including, shell moulding, airset moulding, 3D sand printing and investment casting. By tailoring these processes for each design, we can produce cost effective castings in very short timescales. Products can be produced in various grades including grey, S.G. and hardened irons.
Iron 100-500kg
When casting iron parts over 100kg, we use the airset moulding. The same grades of iron are available for this process. For parts which require cores, these can be produced using cold setting sand moulds or the 3D sand printing process. In this way, we can offer customers the most cost effective method of production.

Steel
Steel castings can be produced in a wide range of sizes and grades. These include mild and stainless steels. Multiple processes are available for these castings, dependant on the design of the product.
Non-ferrous
RapidCast can produce non-ferrous castings from 10g to 100kg in a wide variety of materials. These include Aluminium, Brass, Copper, and Gunmetal. Investment casting and 3D sand printing are the primary processes for these metals. Please contact us for more details.
