Large Steel Castings
Airset moulded parts up to 750kg can be cast.
High Dimensional Accuracy
We produce steel shell castings to a CT9 tolerance.
Short Lead Times
Castings can be turned around faster than many competitors.
Processes
Primarily our steel foundry produces castings using the airset moulding process, this is most suited to low or medium volume production and large steel castings. Utilising the facilities of the Newby Foundries Group we are also able to offer shell moulded steel castings which offer a higher tolerance and finer surface finish, and can be produced in higher volumes than airset steel castings. We also have access to group 3D sand printing facilities, therefore we can provide customers with the most suitable casting solution for many applications, from 1 offs to thousands.
